Production Support Analyst Main Work Location: Historic Stanford Campus Schedule: Hybrid (at least 3 days per week on site) Budgeted Salary Range: The expected pay range for this position is $85,926 to $104,477 per annum. The Office of Undergraduate Admission assembles a freshman class of 1,700 students and a transfer class of approximately 25-40 students each year. The Office of Undergraduate Admission seeks a Production Support Analyst who, under the supervision of the Admission Operations Manager, will process a wide variety of analytical data and fulfill routine, single data sources’ information requests. Examples of Core Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Compiling and producing data using Slate, Excel and Word for use by admission staff. Assisting with maintaining data for the lifecycle of an application in Slate and PeopleSoft. Performing quality assurance checks and correction of various data points, including grade point averages and high school information. Using Configurable Joins queries and reports in Slate to build quality assurance and productivity queries for the Operations team. As the primary user of the school database, overseeing and executing the school data process and confirming that every school has a unique identifier in Slate and every applicant has a School #1 in both Slate and PeopleSoft. Investigating questions and implementing ideas for preventing any noticeable trends in data discrepancies. Working closely with the Operations Analyst and Operations Manager to identify gaps in PeopleSoft data and working to close them by planning any additional data that should also be stored in PeopleSoft. Assisting with the mapping of prospect and application data in Slate. Testing admission-related processes when there are new patches for PeopleSoft. Learning and testing AI tools to speed manual data entry or QA processes. Responsibilities Core Duties: Identify and select usable data from subtle and complex datapatterns. Assess and produce relevant, standard, or custom information(reports, charts, graphs, and tables) from structured data sources byquerying data repositories and generating the associatedinformation. Utilize fundamental processes and methods to validate data toensure high quality product. Distribute reports to applicable agencies,researchers, management, and other internal end-users and provideinterpretation of data when needed. Develop and produce dashboards, key performance indicators, andother recognized metrics used to monitor and report organizationalperformance. Collect and analyze metric data. Collect, manage, and clean datasets using an extraction andreporting programming language to ensure data integrity. Research and reconcile data discrepancies occurring among variousinformation systems and reports. Collaborate with data managers to define and implement datastandards and common data elements for data collection. Assist with identifying new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting. May test prototype software and participate in the approval andrelease process for new software. Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree. Minimum Experience: One year of experience or a combination of education and relevantexperience. Experience in a quantitative discipline such as economics,finance, statistics, or engineering. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Basic knowledge and demonstrated experience using and applyinganalytical software, database management system software, databasereporting software, database user interface and query software, and datamining software. Ability to collect data using a variety of methods, such as datamining and hardcopy or electronic documentation study, to improve orexpand databases. Strong listening, verbal, and written communicationskills. Ability to manage multiple activities in a deadline-orientedenvironment; highly organized, flexible, and rigorous attention todetail. Ability to use logic to calculate data; efficiently construct adatabase or scrutinize the form of a question. Ability to work with data of varying levels of quality andvalidity. Demonstrated ability to produce data in a clear andunderstandable manner meeting user requirements. Ability to work effectively with multiple internal and externalcustomers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
