Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced 30-bed Medical ICU setting
• Manage a complex patient population including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, alcohol and substance use disorders, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy
• Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and drips
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
• Perform thorough assessments, documentation, and timely interventions in a high-acuity environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with mechanical ventilators and drip management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Medical ICU or high-acuity critical care environment
• Familiarity with managing patients with multi-system diagnoses and complex comorbidities
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced setting
