Role: Advanced Practice Provider II in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, responsible for patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, education, and referrals in a specialty outpatient setting. Responsibilities Perform clinical activities such as histories, exams, assessments, and diagnostics. Manage patient care using established protocols, ensuring optimal outcomes. Document health information accurately and clearly. Educate patients and families, promote self-management, and coordinate follow-ups. Train, supervise, and evaluate APP students and healthcare trainees. Serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff and trainees. Participate in professional development, quality improvement, and community outreach. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards. Contribute to departmental goals, participate in committees, and support clinical research if applicable. Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in nursing or Physician Assistant program, recognized by accrediting bodies. 3+ years of clinical experience in a similar role and 5+ years overall. Current licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, including specialty certifications as applicable. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Skills & Abilities Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively, motivate others, and manage change.
