New World Van Lines is seeking a skilled and reliable CDL Class A Regional Driver to join our team. As a crucial member of the New World Van Lines team, this position will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting household goods and possessions between destinations. Operate the company vehicle by ensuring safety of the motoring public, self, and company equipment. Safely load, secure, and unload household goods in the truck and at customers’ homes, ensuring proper handling and care. Plan and execute routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety guidelines. Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the truck and its equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate department. Maintain accurate records of mileage, hours of service, and other required documentation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests courteously and professionally. Collaborate with dispatch and other team members to optimize route planning and enhance overall operational efficiency. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to goods or equipment. Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and trailer, promoting a professional image. Perform any and all duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be at least 22 years of age Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record. Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience with a verifiable safety record. Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing the transportation industry. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to load, secure, and unload household goods as needed. Flexibility to work varied hours and extended shifts when necessary. Basic computer skills for electronic logs and communication. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, sometimes weighing up to 50 pounds. Comfortable with physical exertion, including bending, twisting, and maneuvering in confined spaces. Ability to sit for extended periods and withstand long hours of driving.
