We are fortunate to have the Tomah Area Ambulance Service, Fire Department and Police Department services available to residents. Tomah is proud to host the National Tractor Pullers Association's (NTPA) "Budweiser Wisconsin Dairyland NTPA Super Nationals" each June in Tomah's Recreation Park. Tomah's Recreation Park is also home to the Monroe County Fair and many other local events. We help Warrens celebrate the yearly Cranberry Festival each September. Position Overview

Nurse(s) shall be responsible for providing services for Veterans enrolled for care in the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center (CVVAMC) Dublin and Outpatient Clinics. Assigned duties include but are not limited to:

• Charge Nurse; Documentation; Phone calls; Facilitation of meetings.
• IV and Foley catheter insertion; Wound card; ADL care.
• Assessments; BS Check.
• Insulin and medication administration; G-Tubes.
• Collaborates effectively with all disciplines and levels of care regarding patient care.
• Skills in time management, priority setting, assessment and urgent intervention are required for this position.
• Nursing duties associated with the Dublin VHA.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Graduated from Nationally Accredited Nursing program
• Must be currently certified or licensed, as appropriate, in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia. All licenses shall be full and unrestricted licenses
• Technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the government's requirements, including the ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently
• Nurses must possess active license in state of practice
• Possess an active BLS, ACLS certification
• Must be able to provide copy of immunizations and TB test results within the last year

Shifts: 12-hour shifts, AM & PM required, holidays and overtime required.
