Support students’ growth and educational success as a dedicated School Psychologist in a welcoming Texas school community. This contract opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise in psychological assessment, counseling, and intervention while collaborating closely with educators and families.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Appropriate state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience completing behavioral, cognitive, and educational assessments
- Proficiency in counseling students and providing crisis intervention as needed
- Ability to consult and collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), 504 plans, and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to determine student needs
- Interpret assessment findings and contribute to eligibility and educational planning meetings
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students facing emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges
- Develop and monitor effective behavioral and academic interventions
- Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and other student support plans
- Work collaboratively with school staff and families to foster a positive learning environment
- Deliver professional development to teachers and staff as needed
