Armed Forces Dental Center is a patient-focused practice dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming and supportive environment. We are seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist who is upbeat, enjoys working with others, and thrives in a team-oriented atmosphere.

Position Details

• Schedule:
  • Monday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Employment Type: Full-Time

• Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal dental hygiene services
• Educate patients on oral health, treatment recommendations, and preventive care
• Build strong patient relationships through outstanding communication and customer service
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to deliver exceptional patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical records and support efficient office operations
• Contribute to a positive office culture that supports growth and teamwork

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Dental Hygienist license in good standing
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-player mindset with a willingness to support colleagues
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and education
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Dependable, motivated, and patient-focused

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
