Daytime Team Member Smoothie & Catering Support

Smoothie King is looking for a dependable, energetic Daytime Team Member to support our store operations and growing catering business.

This position is specifically designed for individuals who are available Monday through Friday between 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM. The role combines normal Smoothie King Team Member responsibilities with additional support for catering preparation, order fulfillment, and deliveries.

Our Daytime Team Members help create an excellent Guest experience while preparing high-quality smoothies and food, maintaining a clean and organized store, and ensuring catering orders are prepared accurately and on time.

Primary Availability Required:

• Monday through Friday
• Approximately 6:00 AM 2:00 PM
• No regular evening availability required
• Weekend availability is not required for the primary schedule, although additional hours may occasionally be available

Actual scheduled hours may vary based on store needs and catering volume.

Primary Responsibilities:

Guest Service & Smoothie Preparation

• Greet Guests in a friendly, welcoming, and professional manner.
• Take Guest orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare smoothies, smoothie bowls, food, and other menu items according to Smoothie King recipes and standards.
• Maintain speed and accuracy during busy morning and lunch periods.
• Recommend products, sizes, Extras and Enhancers, and food options when appropriate.
• Ensure every product meets our expectations for quality, appearance, portioning, and consistency.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house and production area.

Catering Support

Catering is an important and growing part of our business. Daytime Team Members may assist with:

• Preparing large-volume smoothie and food orders.
• Organizing and staging catering orders for delivery or pickup.
• Verifying order quantities, flavors, products, and special instructions.
• Labeling and packaging catering orders.
• Preparing coolers, carriers, supplies, and other materials needed for catering orders.
• Loading and unloading catering orders.
• Assisting with local catering deliveries when assigned.
• Helping coordinate multiple catering orders while maintaining normal store operations.
• Cleaning and resetting catering equipment and supplies after orders are completed.

Accuracy and timeliness are especially important because many catering orders are scheduled for schools, businesses, sports teams, and other organizations that require delivery at specific times.

Store Operations:

• Follow all Smoothie King recipes, portioning standards, food-safety procedures, and operating procedures.
• Complete opening and daytime operational tasks as assigned.
• Stock ingredients, cups, food products, supplies, and other inventory.
• Assist with prep work necessary for the day's business and upcoming catering orders.
• Wash dishes, equipment, utensils, and containers.
• Maintain cleanliness of counters, floors, equipment, storage areas, and Guest areas.
• Follow proper sanitation, handwashing, and food-handling procedures.
• Accurately record waste and follow inventory-control procedures.
• Assist management with receiving and putting away deliveries when needed.
• Complete assigned cleaning and operational checklists before leaving the shift.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and move for extended periods during a shift.
• Frequently bend, reach, lift, and carry items.
• Safely lift and carry products, supplies, coolers, and equipment as required by the position.
• Work around commercial food-service equipment, refrigeration, and cleaning products.
• Perform repetitive food-preparation and smoothie-production tasks.

Catering Delivery Requirements:

• Have a valid driver's license.
• Maintain a safe driving record.
• Safely transport catering orders and equipment.
• Follow company procedures for deliveries and Guest/customer interactions.

Delivery responsibilities will depend on business needs and whether the employee meets company driving requirements.
