Seeking a detail-oriented Assistant/Associate Editor for Licensed Books, this full-time remote position will manage approximately 25 titles per year, including various children's formats based on major licensed properties, while collaborating with authors and designers under tight deadlines. Key responsibilities: Managing and editing a publishing list of approximately 25 titles per year Brainstorming new book and series ideas with licensors Collaborating with designers and reviewing all stages of book development Required qualifications: 2 years or more of children's editorial experience Interest in and enthusiasm for licensed book publishing Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Ability to multitask and meet deadlines Excellent organizational skills Virtual Vocations Inc
