Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (RN – ER) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, the ability to respond quickly to emergency situations, and experience caring for patients with a wide range of acute and critical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room.
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on patient acuity.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
• Assist with emergency procedures, trauma cases, and critical interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection-control procedures.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
• Previous Emergency Room/ED nursing experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS and/or TNCC preferred.
• Strong clinical, critical-thinking, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week

• Shift Hours: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM
