Business Development Representative (BDR)

A leading real estate investment firm is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join its Acquisitions team in New York City. This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys sales, is comfortable on the phone, and wants to break into commercial real estate.The firm manages $6B+ in assets, acquires $500M+ annually, and owns 5,000+ properties nationwide. It is backed by a larger parent company with $90B+ in assets. The team focuses on acquiring ground leases for existing telecom infrastructure, including cell towers, cell sites, and billboards.What You'll Do:Make 75–100 outbound calls per day to property ownersBuild rapport and identify potential sellersQualify leads by gathering basic property and ownership informationSchedule meetings for the Acquisitions teamTrack calls, follow-ups, and outcomes in a CRMWork closely with the Acquisitions team to support active dealsWho This Role Is For:Someone with cold calling, inside sales, or outbound phone experienceA self-starter who's comfortable speaking with people throughout the daySomeone interested in commercial real estate and acquisitions, even if new to the industryAn early-career professional looking for a clear growth pathThis role is designed to grow into a Junior Acquisitions Associate position and, over time, a VP of Acquisitions.Requirements:Bachelor's degreePrior experience in cold calling, sales, or lead generation (real estate experience is a plus, not required)Strong communication skills and confidence on the phoneGoal-oriented mindset and strong work ethicAbility to work in-office 5 days per week in NYCFamiliarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Word/ExcelWhat's Offered:Competitive hourly base plus bonus tied to closed dealsHands-on training and mentorship in commercial real estateClear long-term career growth within a fast-growing firm#J-18808-Ljbffr
