RN - Cath Lab Tech Overview: Location: Piedmont Newnan Cath Lab Shift: 4 10s (days) with Call Required Full Time Status Sign on Bonus Available Responsibilities: Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures. Qualifications: Minimum Education Required: RCIS program graduate or graduate of nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology. Minimum Experience Required: 1-year Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience. No experience required if a graduate of an RCIS program. Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law: Relevant license required based on healthcare experience (see above). If a graduate of RCIS program, no license required; however RCIS must be obtained within 24 months of hire. Additional Qualifications: BCLS and ACLS required.
