Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a role in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in providing routine care and orthopedic support while being flexible to float between multiple locations within the region.

Shift Details

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

36 hours scheduled, with a guarantee of 24 hours

Ability to float to similar units is required

Weekend Requirements

Weekend requirements will be determined by the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a progressive care setting.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills and ability to make sound decisions based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience within the last 12 months.
• Active RN license in Arizona, with no hits on the state license to practice.
• Current life support certifications: BLS and ACLS from approved vendors.
• Successful completion of a PCU skills checklist within the last 12 months.
• Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments is preferred.

Additional Information

All candidates are expected to communicate any requests for time off (RTO) upfront, with a maximum allowance of 7 days. No time off will be permitted during the first week of the assignment. Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date or within one week thereafter.
