If so, you might be the perfect match for our Maintenance Mechanic role.Your Impact in This RoleAs a Maintenance Mechanic, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Maintain spare parts inventory and order parts as needed.Perform general preventative maintenance and repairs on facility machinery and equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, loaders).Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical issues and pneumatic valves.Weld, fabricate, and patch steel components as needed.Rig and install motors, conveyor pulleys, and other heavy machinery.Maintain and back up sorting computer software and parameters.Complete daily maintenance logs and manage preventive maintenance programs.Communicate equipment issues across shifts and support team efforts.Provide on-the-job training to new employees and serve as backup for other technicians.What You Bring to the TableHigh School Diploma or GED preferred1–3 years of maintenance experience preferredStrong time management and prioritization skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAnalytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environmentAbility to read mechanical and electrical drawings/schematics preferredGlass processing knowledge is a plusBenefitsMedical InsurancePrescription Drug BenefitsDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceDisability InsuranceCritical Illness Insurance401(k) Retirement Savings PlanWhy Join Us?Sibelco is more than a workplace—it's a community that encourages growth, innovation, and collaboration.
