Job order - J0526-2025 - Permanent Full Time Title Business Architect Category Architecture City Reston, Virginia, United States Job Description CGI is seeking an experienced Business Architect to support large‑scale marketing and digital transformation initiatives within a highly regulated financial services environment. This role partners closely with marketing, digital, data, and technology teams to define and evolve business architecture capabilities, operational processes, and technology alignment across enterprise marketing functions. We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years. This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable. Responsibilities The Business Architect will: Translate business strategy and customer experience goals into scalable architectural models, process frameworks, and delivery roadmaps. Shape marketing technology ecosystems, improve operational efficiency, and drive alignment between business and technical teams in cloud‑enabled environments, including AWS‑based platforms and services. Support governance efforts, process optimization, agile delivery adoption, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure marketing initiatives are delivered efficiently, with clear visibility into priorities, risks, dependencies, and outcomes. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in business architecture, marketing technology, digital transformation, or related disciplines. Strong background in business architecture, digital transformation, or marketing technology environments. Experience defining business capabilities, value streams, process models, and information flows. Familiarity with enterprise process modeling tools such as ARIS or similar repositories. Solid understanding of martech ecosystems including CMS, CRM, analytics, personalization, and AI‑enabled platforms. Ability to work effectively with engineering and cloud teams supporting AWS‑based solutions and modern digital platforms. Proven experience supporting agile or product‑based delivery teams in fast‑paced enterprise environments. Strong business process analysis and optimization skills, particularly around marketing operations and campaign workflows. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including presenting to executive leadership. Comfortable balancing multiple initiatives, priorities, and resource constraints simultaneously. Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams. Desired Skills Master's degree preferred. Relevant certifications in Business Architecture, Agile, AWS, or Enterprise Architecture considered a plus. Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required. Compensation Current range for this role in the U.S. is $108,300.00 – $172,600.00.
