Job Details Position: Labor and Delivery Nurse Location: en_US Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 48 hours per week Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and membership or certification from the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM); active licensure in the state of practice; 0 years minimum experience Additional Information: Unit Details: Labor beds (11), 4-ObEval, 2 OB PACU, 2 ORs Staffing includes one charge nurse plus staff and OB Techs for day and night shifts Patient ratio: 1 RN/2 patients, 1 RN/1 patient Equipment: GE fetal monitoring system Typical procedures performed: Non-stress tests (NST), cervical exams, managing labor, titrating medications, McRoberts maneuver Ideal Candidate Profile: An organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a passion for maternal care Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM Float: Float rotation may be required. Weekend and on-call shifts are part of staffing needs, with no scheduled on-call expected.
