Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This role involves providing emergency health care services to patients of all ages, handling everything from minor medical injuries to complex trauma and various ailments in an emergency room setting.

Key Responsibilities

Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognizing and prioritizing serious situations, and taking immediate action as necessary.
Initiate appropriate measures in emergencies when the physician is not immediately available.
Operate and monitor general and specialized emergency care equipment, including infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.
Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician, including medications and IV therapy that alter hemodynamic status and respiratory support.
Record observations, nursing interventions, therapeutic measures administered, and coordinate activities between nursing and other professional disciplines.
Document specific health care requirements for patients and prepare assignments matching the skills of team members to patient care needs.
Plan and develop care delivery, implement plans, and coordinate documentation of care activities.
Assist in maintaining adequate supplies and equipment, ensuring the general upkeep of the unit, and preserving a safe care environment.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience.
Hold an active Oklahoma or Compact RN License.
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Capable of meeting pre-employment credentialing clearances, including background checks and drug screening.
Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, with the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.

Schedule

This position requires 12-hour shifts, with options available for both day and night shifts.
