Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and light repair services efficiently under a flat-rate system
- Complete brake work, tire services, fluid services, and basic mechanical repairs
- Diagnose straightforward vehicle issues using scan tools and standard procedures
- Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend needed services
- Accurately flag hours and document work performed
- Maintain productivity while ensuring quality and safety standards
- Work closely with service advisors and senior technicians
- Paid per flagged labor hour (not clocked hours)
- Consistent workflow to support strong earning potential
- Performance incentives tied to productivity and quality
- Opportunity to increase hourly rate as skills and certifications grow
- 2-5 years of automotive technician experience
- Ability to complete maintenance and light repairs independently
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair procedures
- Strong work ethic and ability to stay productive in a flat-rate environment
- Valid driver's license
- ASE certifications a plus (training support available)
- Steady car count and consistent work
- Modern dealership facility with up-to-date equipment
- Ongoing factory and hands-on training
- Clear path to B-Level and A-Level Technician advancement
