Job Title: IT Technician
Location: Waco, TX 76710
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, some overtime as required
Pay: $20.00–$22.00/hour (DOE)
Position Overview
Crouch Staffing is seeking an IT Technician for a Waco business to provide hands-on technical support to employees. This is a non-remote position.
Job Duties:
- Provide hands-on technical support to employees (hardware, software, printers, peripherals, and more)
- Troubleshoot and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely and professional manner
- Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, and mobile devices
- Assist with account setup, equipment provisioning, and access management for employees
- Support network basics, including connectivity issues, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and cable runs
- Maintain IT inventory and documentation
- Assist IT Department on company projects, system upgrades, and process improvements
- Identify recurring issues and suggest proactive improvements
Job Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration.
- Exposure to ticketing systems (Zendesk, Jira, ServiceNow, etc.)
- Any hands-on IT experience —prior employment, internships, volunteer work
- Basic understanding of Windows and/or macOS environments.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP), even if it is from coursework.
- Strong problem-solving instincts and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds, carry up to 50 pounds, bend, squat, kneel, and stand up to 8 hours per day, working on your feet and adapting quickly as priorities shift.
- Strong communication skills — able to explain technical issues to non-technical team members.
