Our team comprises two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all dedicated to patient wellness and recovery. As a growing practice, we operate from a spacious 5,000 square-foot sports medicine facility that allows us to utilize advanced treatment modalities and technologies.

Work Environment

Our outpatient office in El Cajon fosters an encouraging and energetic environment, where staff collaboration and communication are paramount. Physical Therapists have the opportunity to interact with a variety of healthcare professionals, contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. This full-time role requires a commitment to our office schedule of Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand and fulfill each patient's individual objectives and requirements effectively.
• Manage a case load of two patients per hour, ensuring timely and effective delivery of personalized care.
• Administer evidence-based therapies that enhance patient mobility, minimize reliance on medication, and provide non-surgical alternatives.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs that foster movement, strength, and overall well-being.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment journey to maximize functionality and optimize recovery.
• Document patient services accurately, maintain effective communication with patients, and collaborate with healthcare team members to monitor treatment progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice focuses primarily on treating orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in El Cajon, California, with no record of disciplinary actions or board violations.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, ensuring high-quality patient treatments that adhere to best practices.
• Ability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Experience with EMR software, such as WebPT, for comprehensive documentation and communication within the team.

Preferred Experience

Ideally, candidates should possess at least two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings. This experience will facilitate a greater understanding of patient needs and enhance the quality of care provided. Familiarity with collaborative treatment approaches is also highly beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
