About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Commercial Lending Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling and servicing commercial loans, accounts, and other relevant products and services to both existing and new business members, with a focus on operating companies. This role involves conducting in-person and phone discussions with business members, achieving specific sales and service goals, and managing a proactive calling program. The VP, Commercial Lending Officer will also be involved in underwriting commercial loans, working with the commercial loan committee, and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete. Additionally, the role includes mentoring and training branch staff, cross-selling other company products and services, and representing the company in the community. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, a minimum of 5 years of commercial lending experience, and be a credit-skilled lender with knowledge of commercial lending laws and regulations. Strong sales profiling skills and a history of successful new customer generation are essential. The role requires proficiency in various programs and systems related to commercial lending, as well as excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. The VP, Commercial Lending Officer will be expected to work independently, use independent judgment, and maintain a high degree of confidentiality while complying with all company policies and procedures.
