Material Planner III
Pay: $47/hour
Location: Atlanta, GA 30363
Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Positions Available: 3
Initial Term: 6 months, with potential for extension
About the Role:
Kelly is seeking experienced Material Planners to support 7 international manufacturing sites (US, UK, Mexico, Brazil). In this role, you'll coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials arrive on time, collaborate with logistics and trade compliance teams, and keep all stakeholders updated. This is a critical, fast-paced position that requires previous successful material planning experience. Knowledge of Oracle APCC and a Bachelor’s degree are required. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, order, and expedite materials for the manufacturing process across seven global sites.
• Maintain proactive communication with suppliers regarding order status, packaging issues, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) problems.
• Relay information to cross-functional teams including shop operations, purchasing, supplier quality, and engineering.
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases; analyze material data and supplier delivery performance.
• Coordinate production scheduling and inventory management according to manufacturing capacity.
• Resolve supplier issues concerning procedures, delivery, updates, and pricing.
• Track data for new product introductions.
• Build and maintain relationships across the organization to solve problems and execute tasks effectively.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain confidentiality as needed.
• Interface with customers, engineers, and other necessary functions.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and audits.
• Complete other duties as needed to ensure materials and production are aligned.
• Occasional travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Demonstrated success in previous material planning roles.
• Experience with Oracle Advanced Planning Command Center (APCC) strongly preferred.
• Must live near the Atlanta, GA site.
• Strong organizational, communication, and analysis skills.
• Previous experience working across international sites is a plus.
