Civil Engineer

We are recruiting for a well-established, multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm with over 40 years of continuous service and a strong backlog of projects in transportation, wastewater, and land development. Position Summary As a Civil Engineer , you will play an integral role in the planning, design, and delivery of infrastructure projects across multiple disciplines, including transportation/highway engineering, wastewater systems, and land development/civil site work . You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to support all phases of project delivery—from feasibility and design through permitting, construction documentation, and construction administration. Key Responsibilities Lead engineering design and analysis tasks for transportation, wastewater, and civil/land development projects Prepare plans, specifications, and technical reports for roadway design, site grading, stormwater management, wastewater conveyance/treatment, and utility infrastructure Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure project requirements and design standards are met Support construction administration including review of submittals, site inspections, and addressing RFI responses Assist with permitting, feasibility studies, and engineering investigations as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain licensure in New York and other states as needed Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in transportation, wastewater, or civil site/land development engineering Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD/Civil 3D, drainage modeling tools, Microsoft Office) Strong understanding of design standards, regulatory requirements, and construction practices Excellent communication and teamwork skills Why This Firm Over 40 years of engineering excellence with a strong project pipeline Collaborative, supportive culture with opportunities for professional growth and technical leadership Projects spanning public and private sectors, including municipal clients and transportation authorities Recognition as a trusted regional leader in civil, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation engineering #J-18808-Ljbffr Green Key Resources
