Job Title: Shipping Assembler – Integration / Clean Room

Job Description

This role focuses on assembling and refurbishing electronic hardware, including POS systems, computers, and related components within a clean room integration department. You will handle order picking, basic troubleshooting, and inventory tasks while entering and managing work orders in the computer system. The position combines hands-on assembly work with light computer usage in a clean, modern, and temperature-controlled facility.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic hardware such as POS systems, computers, and other electronic devices in the integration (clean room) department.
• Refurbish electronic equipment according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Enter and update work orders accurately in the computer system.
• Troubleshoot basic system issues and ensure assembled units function correctly.
• Pick orders and parts from inventory to support assembly and integration activities.
• Handle and use hand tools and minimal power tools safely and effectively during assembly.
• Support inventory-related tasks, including tracking components and maintaining accurate counts.
• Follow all safety, cleanliness, and quality guidelines required in a clean room environment.
• Lift and move materials and equipment up to 50 lbs as needed to complete daily tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain an efficient workflow.

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months of assembly experience.
• At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly as required.
• Ability to use a computer for tasks such as entering and managing work orders.
• Experience using hand tools in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
• Comfort with minimal power tool usage.
• Basic computer experience, including data entry and navigation.
• Ability to perform inventory-related tasks with attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with electronics, POS systems, or computer hardware.
• Experience in a refurbishment or integration of electronic equipment.
• Familiarity with working in a clean room or controlled environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and procedures.

The role is based in a very spacious, newer building that is clean and temperature-controlled, providing a comfortable and modern work setting. The integration department operates as a clean room environment, supporting careful handling of electronics and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. The facility offers employee amenities such as a golf simulator and a game room with activities like shuffleboard and air hockey, creating an enjoyable and engaging workplace. The position follows a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering consistent daytime hours and a stable weekly routine.

This is a Contract position based out of Chanhassen, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
