Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16 - $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 10:00 PM - 08:00 AM Thu 10:00 PM - 08:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location. Monitor front desk activity, manage access control processes, and assist with visitor check‑in, badge distribution, and directions in accordance with site protocols. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts as needed. Answer phones, observe and report unusual activity, and document security‑related events, visitor interactions, and/or incidents with attention to site‑specific requirements. Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional front desk presence and following established post orders and healthcare location guidelines. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
