(USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary Responsible for ensuring safety, inventory, member service, and operational excellence at a Sam's Club location. What You'll Do Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics, implementing action plans and the Open Door Policy. Operate forklifts safely, following company standards and guidelines for picking, moving, and placing merchandise pallets. Complete work assignments and prioritize using policies, data, and resources while collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners. Receive stocks and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers, managing inventory flow and equipment usage. Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding them on self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services. Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations. Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged goods, setting up displays, and ensuring promotional and seasonal merchandise is prominently displayed. Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled accurately and staged on time, assisting with picking and performing occasional audits. Handle inventory moves and displays, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, control shrinkage, and report poor inventory practices. Operate and maintain forklifts safely, report unsafe conditions, and inform management of forklift problems. Proactively identify customers needing technology assistance, provide support, model technology services, and address shrink opportunities. Minimum Qualifications 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification. Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older. Additional compensation premiums: $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply.
