Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Medical Director responsibilities, balancing both clinical leadership and hands-on veterinary medicine. Alongside providing high-quality care with a focus on wellness, preventative medicine, dentistry, paediatrics, medical services, pain management, anaesthesia, and patient monitoring, you will oversee the clinical direction of the practice, help maintain high medical standards, mentor and support the veterinary team, and foster a collaborative working environment. You will be responsible for delivering compassionate care to companion animals while contributing to the continued growth and success of the hospital. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Wednesday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, and the first Saturday of each month from 8:00am to 1:00pm. It is closed on Sundays. The practice provides a comprehensive range of services including preventative care, medical services, paediatrics for puppies and kittens, dentistry, boarding, pain management, anaesthesia and patient monitoring, and microchipping. Supporting a broad companion animal caseload, the hospital is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality medicine while fostering a supportive, growth-focused culture where both patients and team members can thrive.

Team
You will be joining a team of 2 DVMs, supported by a dedicated team known for its collaborative approach, strong mentorship, and positive working atmosphere. Together, the team is committed to delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining a supportive environment that encourages teamwork, professional development, and continued clinical excellence.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
