Dental Office Manager / Treatment Coordinator

Middlebury Dental Center & Aesthetic Elements Dental Studio
Middlebury, CT / Trumbull, CT
Full-Time | $75,000–$95,000/year, based on experience

Middlebury Dental Center and Aesthetic Elements Dental Studio are seeking an experienced Dental Office Manager / Treatment Coordinator to join our growing organization.

This is a leadership role for someone with strong dental experience who enjoys team management, treatment coordination, patient communication, practice systems, and growth .

The position will initially be based primarily in Middlebury and will expand to support both Middlebury and our new Trumbull location as it opens and grows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administrative operations
• Lead, coach, and hold administrative team members accountable
• Train and onboard team members
• Manage scheduling, PTO, coverage, and front-office workflows
• Conduct and support team meetings and practice initiatives
• Coordinate comprehensive and complex treatment plans
• Present treatment plans, fees, financing, and payment options
• Follow up on unscheduled and incomplete treatment
• Support insurance, collections, accounts receivable, and financial arrangements
• Help optimize doctor and hygiene schedules
• Maintain office systems, SOPs, and administrative processes
• Work closely with the dentist/owner on practice performance and growth
• Assist with establishing systems and workflows for the new Trumbull location
• Provide leadership and operational support across both practices

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dental Office Manager, Practice Manager, Treatment Coordinator, or Senior Dental Administrator
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, insurance, scheduling, and collections
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Confident presenting comprehensive treatment and financial arrangements
• Comfortable coaching employees and addressing performance issues
• Strong follow-through and problem-solving skills
• Experience with dental practice-management software
• Willingness to work between Middlebury and Trumbull as the practices grow

Dental experience is strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

$75,000–$95,000/year, depending on experience and qualifications
