Training Boat Crew Members
Duties
You will be responsible for training boat crew members in all facets of small craft operations, in accordance with requirements.
You will conduct Shore Installation Management Basic Boat Coxswain courses and their prerequisites.
You will provide guidance to regions and installation staff on all aspects of driving, operating and maintaining small craft.
You will brief key management officials on project status and issues related to various small craft including log broncs, light tugs, barrier boats, utility boats, oil recovery skimmers, boom platform boats and Harbor Security Boats.
You will ensure all vessel crews are properly performing maintenance and upkeep of the small craft.
