Maintenance Tech I - 2nd shift

Overview Mechanical Maintenance Technician at Revlon, onsite in Oxford, North Carolina. Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining shop equipment and manufacturing systems. Responsibilities Plan, initiate, and complete job assignments promptly. Operate a broad array of shop equipment (mills, lathes, saws, conveyors, pumps, carton and box makers). Maintain safe, clean, and orderly work areas. Comply with GMP, USDA, and all safety regulations. Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair filling and assembly equipment and systems. Diagnose and repair hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication, and other mechanical systems. Respond to machinery and equipment emergencies and perform visual inspections and tests. Read and interpret mechanical schematics and perform preventive maintenance during operation or scheduled downtime. Accurately complete maintenance records and report problems to supervisor. Work within a team structure with minimal supervision, modifying equipment to support continuous improvement. Support multiple plant areas and train as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 3–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of filling and assembly equipment and systems. Ability to operate power shop tools and hand tools safely. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication, welding, power transmission systems, and pipe‑fitting. Proficiency in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and equipment setup. Strong organization, time‑management, and attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. Willingness to work 40+ hours per week and to change shifts as needed. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift 50 lb, and perform tasks in a workshop environment. Must pass required assessment tests. Shift & Compensation Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:45 pm – 11:15 pm. Base pay $28.00 per hour with a $1.10 shift differential. Additional short‑term incentives may apply.
