As an experienced Manufacturing Engineer (senior/level III scope), you’ll turn ideas into scalable, reliable production. Your days move from the factory floor to the design bench to supplier calls—where you translate requirements into tooling, equipment, and process designs that run safely and efficiently. You’ll steward projects from concept through validation, dialing in recipes, eliminating waste, and hitting cost and lead-time targets along the way.

What you’ll own

• Author detailed specifications for processes, equipment, and tooling that meet performance and quality objectives.
• Create runoff and validation plans for equipment, tooling, and processes; when needed, directly execute activities such as overseeing equipment build and crafting/modifying recipes to achieve successful validation.
• Drive continuous improvement to remove waste, improve cost structure, and shorten lead times.
• Build and maintain project schedules, identify critical path items, and manage on-time delivery of milestones.
• Collaborate with tooling and equipment suppliers to meet technical and schedule goals.
• Forecast spend and manage budgets for Capital Investment Projects you identify or are assigned.
• Lead or facilitate kaizen events that elevate production performance or enable new growth opportunities.
• Prepare concise project updates for management reviews, as needed.
• Serve as project leader for cross-functional teams when required.
• Mentor engineers and engineering technicians, helping develop capability across the team.
• Travel to support equipment validation prior to arrival; travel as needed.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field with significant mechanical experience (required).
• 5+ years of experience; background in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Proven capability coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Working knowledge of kaizen (continuous improvement), lean, standard work, mistake-proofing, statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, and structured problem-solving methods.
• Hands-on experience with verification and validation of manufacturing processes.
• Experience in equipment or tooling design and fabrication.
• Proficiency in mechanical design, 3D modeling, and creation of 2D detail drawings; strong technical drawing interpretation and report writing.
• Ability to turn open-ended objectives into prioritized plans and clearly defined critical paths.
• Bias for action and a results-focused problem-solving mindset.
