Quality Assurance Analyst/TesterThe Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester must have extensive experience and skills in Manual QA testing and have a solid understanding of all types of testing. The ideal candidate would have prior experience in testing of the AMANDA enterprise permit and licensing application from Granicus (formerly Calytera). THIS IS NOT THE ADVANCED MARYLAND AUTOMATIC NETWORK DISK ARCHIVER (AMANDA).ResponsibilitiesParticipate and contribute to the development and documentation of the test planDevelop and document test cases and success criteria scenarios during development of user storiesFollow test plan and test strategy set at the project level by adhering to standards and ensuring quality of the deliverablesReview business requirements for Amanda back office as well as portal and provide inputs on any identified gaps based on test scenarios of positive and negative conditionsProvide inputs to Developers and Solution Architect on AMANDA fitment of business requirementsValidate all the Business Rules, Validations and Conditions in AMANDA as well as in the web portalValidate data and documents migrated from Legacy system to AMANDAPerform migration testing with legacy data, new data created in AMANDA, or a combination of both, and old features (unchanged features) and new featuresExecute test cases and report bugs in Azure DevOpsParticipate in Agile Process including test effort estimations and by providing daily updates in Stand-upsMaintain Test Scripts/ cases by constantly updating them based on the changes in the business functions based on demo feedback as well as UAT feedbackClassify test cases into Smoke Test Suite, Regression Test Suite, Positive Test Cases and Negative Test Cases as defined at the project levelSmoke testing for each deployment/ releaseRegression testing when changes are implemented that have impact to other areasDocument defects and bugs with all the required details identified during testingAppropriately mark the defect severity to drive priority to development team for fixesTroubleshoot and triage defects and bugsCreate User Acceptance Test Scenarios for the SME’s and assist Business SMEs during User Acceptance TestingCollaborate with project team on a regular basis to provide inputs to maintain quality standardsGeneral Skills – RequiredHighly skilled at Manual QA testing (8+ years of experience preferred)Hands on experience with testing internal business applications and public/client web portalsExperience in various Testing methodologies like Black Box Testing, Functional Testing, Regression testing etc.Experience in applying different testing principles to design efficient test cases with a motive to ensure test coverage and qualityExperience in documenting and executing test cases for varying scenarios and conditionsExperience in documenting and evaluating test resultsExperience in reviewing test procedures and creating test scriptsExperience designing test plans and test scenariosAbility to write and execute SQL queries (Oracle and SQL Server databases preferred)Experience troubleshooting and tracking defectsExperience in fixing bugs and working with the development groupAbility to work in a dynamic environment and come up with solutions to meet project needsAMANDA Related Skills – Preferred, but not RequiredWorkflow capabilitiesManual testing of Amanda softwareKnowledge of personalization featuresKnowledge of security featuresExperience conducting folder, people, process info validationKnowledge of fees and paymentsExperience conducting checklist validationsKnowledge of Task listsRequired Skills : 1.
