Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time travel assignment in Waterloo, NY. This role offers a dynamic work environment in a long-term care setting, ideal for healthcare professionals dedicated to enhancing resident care.

Key Responsibilities of the Full Time CNA

• Assist residents with daily living needs such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care per care plan
• Maintain resident safety and environment by responding to call lights, using safety equipment, preventing falls, and cleaning units
• Support residents with meals, including tray delivery, feeding assistance, and use of adaptive equipment
• Assist with mobility and rehab needs like range of motion exercises, walking, transfers, and proper positioning
• Take and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
• Measure and record weight, intake, and output
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of residents
• Facilitate residents' social and emotional needs through interaction and companionship
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold residents' rights at all times
• Report resident concerns, changes, or refusals to nurse promptly
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner per protocol
• Exercise caution due to the occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens

Requirements of the Full Time CNA

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
• BLS certification (must be through AHA or RQI)
• Minimum 1-year experience as a licensed CNA in a long-term care setting
• High School Diploma or GED
