Job Description As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol Driver in Sugar Land, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.71 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, operational areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access control points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site requirements. Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
