Midwife - Staff

We are seeking Certified Nurse Midwife for a well-known health care systems that serves Virginia and eastern North Carolina.

The hospital is located in a beautiful coastal southern charm town with plenty of things to do. You will be just a short drive away to waterways, woodlands, beaches of the Outer Banks and nearby big cities like Norfolk Va, Hampton Roads, and Virginia Bch. We are looking for a flexible, energetic, passionate, highly motivated candidate who demonstrates strong relationship building skills, strong clinical skills, and the desire to build the program.


We are offering awesome compensation for your time . You will have full autonomy of births, and Physician support at all times for high-risk births.


Responsibilities:

• Provider full scope obstetrical and well-women gynecological care in a clinical practice
• Rotating Call to include 7-8 days per months
• Hospital rounding with supportive and collaborative OB/GYN physicians
• Inpatient Deliveries
• Providing full scope obstetrical and well-women gynecological care in a clinical practice
• Hospital rounding with supportive and collaborative OB/GYN physicians

To Qualify for this opportunity:

• 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery necessary
• Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
• Must be Certified as a Nurse Midwife is required.
• Must be flexible with schedule
• Must be a Team player and Adaptable.
