Control Room Operator, Mill

Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm Pay Rate: $37.09 (Shift differential applies) Flexible to work overtime and weekends This position samples, evaluates and analyzes processes for optimum tonnage through the mill. Able to read and write legibly/enter data into Google sheets Must possess basic math and computer skills Knowledge of crushing/screening processes JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for start-up, safe operation and shutdown of mill equipment, including dryer, shakers, Remco crushers, Rotex screens, Bivitec, etc. Observes for broken or blinded screens Runs Rotap sieve analysis Responsible for quality of work and the safe operation of all tools/equipment under his/her control Responsible for good housekeeping and safety inspection of work area May be required to perform other duties as assigned Skills: MSHA certified, preferred but not required Computer Proficiency Physical Requirements: Prolonged standing Lifting Objects (up to 50 lbs) Bending Climbing Stooping Kneeling Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.
