Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and emotional status, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each client's specific goals and challenges, utilizing evidence-based practices. Provide therapeutic interventions across multiple modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, adapting approaches based on client needs. Regularly monitor and document clients' progress, utilizing tools and methodologies that align with best practice standards to adjust treatment strategies as necessary. Offer timely crisis intervention and support to clients facing emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and stability strategies. Maintain accurate, confidential client records in compliance with state and federal laws, including HIPAA regulations. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate holistic care for clients. Stay informed on the latest developments in mental health treatments and participate in ongoing professional education to enhance clinical effectiveness. Engage in regular supervision and training opportunities, contributing to a culture of learning and development within the organization. Adhere to the ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by relevant licensing boards and organizations, maintaining the integrity of practice. Patient Population / Client Focus At Silverwood Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field. Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, LCSW). Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, ensuring effective rapport with clients. Empathy, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to client care and well-being. Proficiency in working independently while also contributing as an integral member of a team. Familiarity with ethical guidelines and legal standards governing mental health practice. A commitment to continuous professional development and knowledge acquisition. Preferred Experience A minimum of three years of relevant experience in mental health counseling or psychotherapy, reflecting a depth of understanding and practical application of therapeutic interventions. Experience working in community health settings is highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits Silverwood Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
