Hilton Garden Inn of Schahet Hotels is currently seeking a cook to join our growing team!

You will produce a consistent, quality food product through the use of standardized recipes, following all safety and local sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities include preparing or directing preparation of food served using established production procedures, determining amount and type of food and supplies required using production systems, learning menus, recipes, preparation, and presentation, complying with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards, correctly preparing all food served following standard recipes and special diet orders, planning food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that excellence, quality, temperature, and appearance of food is preserved, keeping work area neat and clean at all times, cleaning and maintaining equipment used in food preparation, prepping all food for next shift and for the following day, working with servers to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve complaints about food service as needed, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include minimum two years of experience in food-related business, knowledge of food handling and production, basic reading, writing, and math skills, and the ability to read and interpret recipes.
