Mechanic

Primary Responsibilities: Perform various tasks to maintain vehicle functional condition: Inspecting and testing equipment; Complete preventative maintenance, such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire changes, replacing filters, etc; Repairing engine failures; Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; Replacing parts and components; Listening to and understanding operator complaints Verify vehicle capability by conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems. Maintain equipment records by documenting service and repairs. Possess a basic knowledge of parts and parts ordering. Advance career knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, etc. Upkeep vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Utilize safe working practices and obey all company safety policies. Able to work satellite sites no further than 10 miles travel distance.
