Job Description

Construction Estimator

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets for facade and demolition construction projects.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timelines are adhered to.
• Oversee construction progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Analyze and manage project risks effectively to avoid delays or budget overruns.
• Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and subcontractors.
• Ensure all work adheres to local building codes and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Estimator should have:

• Experience in facade and demolition construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction cost estimation and project management principles.
• Proficiency in relevant construction software and tools.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Queens.
• General knowledge of Building and Construction codes
