Position requires an active and valid PA Elementary Certification. Prior experience as an elementary school teacher is required, with gifted endorsement preferred, but not required. The candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of the physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development of elementary-aged learners, including the needs of gifted students. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential to effectively partner with students, families, and colleagues.

New Teacher Induction: August 20, 2026 - August 26, 2026

The candidate must be able to implement the approved curriculum and design and deliver instruction that meets a range of learner needs. This includes providing strength-based opportunities for gifted students through differentiation, enrichment, and extension that promote critical and creative thinking and support talent development. The candidate will use multiple data points to inform instruction, contribute to the evaluation process, and support the ongoing development of gifted learners. Responsibilities include providing specially designed instruction and developing and implementing GIEPs aligned to present levels and evaluation data with meaningful, measurable goals. Additional responsibilities include ongoing progress monitoring, collaboration with team members, and maintaining compliance with Chapter 16 requirements.

In addition to being qualified and knowledgeable in the specific area of certification required, we are seeking individuals trained in:

• Computer Background in Windows
• Data interpretation for classroom/school improvement planning

If hired for employment, the applicant must be able to submit the following:

1. Criminal Record Check (less than one year old)
2. PA Child Abuse History Clearance (less than one year old)
3. FBI Finger Print Clearance (less than one year old)
4. TB Test/Mantoux (less than 3 months old)
5. Physical - if applicable (less than 1 year old)
