Quality Assurance Group Leader

Eurofins BPT-Columbia seeks a Quality Assurance Group Leader to oversee QA operations and staff in Columbia, Missouri. The role involves managing quality systems, conducting audits, and ensuring GLP/CGMP regulatory compliance in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day QA activities, mentor staff, and review work prior to approval and sign-off
• Conduct internal and external quality audits; coordinate client and regulatory GLP/CGMP audits
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and metrics to improve compliance
• Investigate customer complaints and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to completion
• Review protocols, procedures, and documents for regulatory compliance; update schedules and file documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field
• Five years directly related GLP and/or CGMP experience; at least three years in QA (not QC/R&D)
• Demonstrated supervisory and staff management experience
• Laboratory environment experience required
• Knowledge of HPLC and/or GC analytical techniques
• LIMS system experience desirable; Empower software review experience preferred
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization
