Senior Revenue Cycle Coordinator

Managing a high volume of medical claims, the full-time Senior Revenue Cycle Coordinator will refute denials, represent the Accounts Receivable area, and identify trends to enhance processes while working remotely. Key responsibilities Manage and refute denied medical claims through accurate review and resubmission Represent the Accounts Receivable area to internal and external stakeholders, providing necessary support Identify trends in claims data and communicate potential solutions to management Required qualifications Minimum of 2 years of medical billing or health plan claims adjudication experience Understanding of CPT, ICD-9/10, and CMS 1500 claim formatting Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Electronic Health Record systems Knowledge of HIPAA and regulatory requirements related to claims data Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required
