Registered Nurse (RN) – Corrections (Medical Unit) | 2nd Shift | Dayton, OH Location Dayton, OH (On-site)—All-female correctional facility (Medical side; not Mental Health). Job Type Contract to hire | 36–40 hrs/week Schedule 2nd shift Rotating weekends Flexibility required(days/hours may change based on facility needs) May be asked tostay overto cover until relief arrives About the Role A-Line Staffing is hiring aRegistered Nurse (RN)to provide hands-on nursing care in a correctional medical setting. You’ll support patient assessment, medication administration, treatment delivery, and coordination with the care team while following strict safety and security protocols. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care based on patient needs and facility protocols Monitor patient condition and report changes to the care team Administer medications and treatments as ordered Document care accurately and maintain compliance with facility policies Follow all safety, security, and infection-control requirements Requirements Active, unrestricted Ohio RN license BLS/CPR certification (required) Comfortable working in a secure correctional environment Must beschedule-flexibleand able to workat least one weekend day per week Important Facility/Security Rules (Must Follow) No cell phones permitted Must clear ametal detector No tobacco/vapes/cans No personal items allowed inside Food/drinks must be inclear containers Up to1 gallon of waterallowed Pre-Start / Compliance (Typical) Selected candidates will complete onboarding screening (e.g., TB test and drug screen) and must provide required credentialing documents as part of the submission/onboarding process.
