Driver Helper

This Driver Helper role supports delivery operations throughout Manhattan by assisting a driver with loading, unloading, and moving merchandise to and from customer locations. Typical duties include checking items against delivery paperwork, securing products for transport, carrying packages into buildings when required, and helping keep the vehicle organized and clean. The position may also involve reading route instructions, communicating respectfully with customers, and following safety procedures while working around traffic, stairs, docks, and tight spaces. Basic qualifications usually include the ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy items, work efficiently as part of a team, and maintain a dependable attendance record. Prior warehouse, moving, or delivery support experience is helpful but not always required. This is a full-time position with a schedule based on operational needs; some early mornings, evenings, weekends, or rotating start times may be expected. Compensation may be negotiated within the posted range based on relevant experience.
