About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: NY License required in hand Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Epic charting experience Description: MUST HAVE NY LICENSE IN HAND. Specialty: Behavioral Health RN. Shift: 3x12 Nights from 19:00 to 07:00. Contract length: 13 weeks. Weekend requirement: Every other weekend. On-call requirement: None. First-time travelers accepted. Locals must be more than a 75-mile radius. Patient ratios: 7 during the day, 10 at night. Candidates will float as needed. Background policy reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Required experience: 1 year. Candidates will be required to have previous charge experience. Candidates must have documented experience with anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and crisis intervention techniques. Candidates must have experience managing assaultive behavior and medication administration. Patient diagnoses include schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, psychosis, and bipolar depression. Total module time may reach 10 hours, with up to 5 hours being billable. Modules are completed pre-start and vary by specialty.
