Forklift Operator

Location: Elma, WA 98541
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (Saturday - Voluntary)
Job Type: Temporary - No current end date
Application Period: This position will remain open until filled.

Position Summary:

The Forklift Operator supports daily warehouse operations by moving pallets, handling materials, and assisting with general warehouse duties. This position requires at least six months of previous forklift operating experience, safe material handling practices, and the ability to follow instructions while maintaining an organized work area.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to move, position, and transport pallets and materials safely.
• Assist with pallet handling, staging, and general warehouse activities.
• Load, unload, and organize materials as assigned.
• Inspect materials for visible damage and report any issues.
• Follow established safety procedures and operating instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Requirements:

• At least six months of previous forklift operating experience required.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Must wear steel-toed boots and long pants while working.
• Willingness to assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Additional Information:

This is a temporary position with no current end date established. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Saturday work is available for candidates who would like additional hours.
