Delivery Helper

Job Description

The Delivery Helper plays a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages using a 26ft box truck as part of a small 2 man team member. This position involves assisting with loading and unloading, handling packages carefully, interacting with customers professionally, and adhering to safety protocols to support smooth delivery operations.

Responsibilities

Assist with loading packages onto the 26ft box truck
Help unload packages promptly and safely at delivery locations
Handle packages with care to prevent damage
Engage with customers courteously during deliveries
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures during loading, transit, and unloading

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in delivery support
High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical stamina to handle manual loading and unloading tasks
Strong time management skills to meet delivery schedules
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Teamwork skills to collaborate effectively within a small delivery team
Problem-solving aptitude to address delivery challenges
Awareness and adherence to safety standards
