Do you like variety in your day, whether you're making deliveries, operating equipment, organizing materials, or helping maintain a safe and efficient warehouse? If so, we'd like to meet you.

About Us

Since 1919, Andy J. Egan Co. has been the mechanical contractor that West Michigan construction managers and building owners depend on for the highest quality work. We are dedicated to hiring individuals who understand the importance of safety, demonstrate integrity in all aspects of their lives, are passionate about what they do, and are committed to providing value to our customers.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Warehouse Material Handler / CDL Driver to support warehouse operations and deliver materials to jobsites throughout Michigan and the Midwest. This is a hands-on role that combines material handling, warehouse support, and commercial driving.

One day you may be pulling and loading materials for a large construction project, while the next you're delivering critical supplies to a jobsite, operating equipment, or helping maintain our facilities. You'll play an important role in ensuring our field teams have the materials they need, when they need them.

What You'll Do

• Pull and prepare materials for delivery, including pipe, valves, fittings, and other mechanical construction supplies.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
• Receive, organize, stock, and maintain warehouse inventory.
• Deliver materials and equipment to jobsites throughout Michigan and the Midwest, with occasional travel beyond the region.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Assist with building and grounds maintenance.
• Inspect and maintain company vehicles, trailers, and equipment in a clean and safe condition.
• Support warehouse operations and shop needs to help keep projects on schedule.
• Work closely with field personnel, warehouse staff, vendors, and project teams.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and enjoys a role that combines physical work, customer service, and driving responsibilities. The ideal candidate takes ownership of their work, works well independently, and is always willing to lend a hand wherever needed.

You should have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience operating forklifts, trailers, and heavy equipment is preferred, along with familiarity with plumbing, HVAC, welding, or mechanical construction materials.

Required qualifications include:

• Valid CDL-A license.
• Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmissions.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a variety of commercial vehicles, pickup trucks, and trailers.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Strong initiative, reliability, and self-motivation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Why You'll Love This Role

You'll join a team of dedicated professionals who take pride in their work and support one another's success. This role offers a great mix of warehouse operations and driving responsibilities, allowing you to stay active, work independently, and make a direct impact on projects across the region.

In addition to competitive pay, we offer:

• 100% employer-paid Medical and Dental insurance premiums.
• Comprehensive benefits including Vision, Life, and Disability insurance.
• Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.
• 401(k) with company match.
• Corporate Chaplain and Employee Assistance Program.
• A workplace recognized as a Best and Brightest "Best of the Best" Elite Award winner.

If you're looking for a stable career with a company that values safety, teamwork, and excellence, we encourage you to apply and become part of a team that has been building trust and delivering quality workmanship for more than a century.
