Summary:

- Must be willing and able to work charge, with charge shifts generally 1-2 per week. - Years of experience required: 2. - Certifications required: ACLS, BLS. - Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only). COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required. - Previous Charge Experience: Not explicitly required. - Travel Experience Required: Yes. - Charting System Experience: Preferred (Cerner). - Skills Required: Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, Feeding tube care and management, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, Manage Cardiac drips (no titration), Manage Vasoactive drips (no titration), Management of dysrhythmias, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Starting and maintaining IVs, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Titration of Insulin drips, Tracheostomy care/management. - Traveler’s university must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at graduation. - License: Must be in hand prior to start date. - Two supervisor references required. - Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. - Floating is required within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
